Splash guesser rules at a glance
Six zoom levels, six attempts, one shot at the day's streak.
Tight crop opens the puzzle
Today's puzzle starts on a tight 5x crop of the official splash. You can barely see what you are looking at, which is the streak filter. Each wrong guess zooms out one notch and your time to read the canvas grows.
Six attempts, then locked
You get six tries before the puzzle locks until the next reset. Six zoom levels track to six attempts, ending around 1.5x where the splash is almost legible. Burn them all and the streak ends.
Skin splashes still count as the base
Today might serve up base Garen, tomorrow might serve up Pulsefire Caitlyn. Either way the answer is the underlying champion, never the skin. Reading the skin line as the answer is the most common streak-killer.
Daily reset at midnight UTC
A new splash drops every day and yesterday's reveal is published in full. The streak rewards visual literacy: signature weapons, hairstyles, palettes, and lighting choices, the fingerprints of every champion on the roster.
Splash is the pure-instinct streak. No row, no slot, no resource cell. Just art.
Daily tips to extend the splash streak
Streak vets do not chase the first frame. They buy information first.
Skip the gut guess on the first zoom. Unless a unique cue jumps out (Ahri's tails, Jhin's mask, Riven's broken blade), let the second zoom open more canvas. Burning attempt one on a hunch is the fastest way to end a streak.
Read the regional palette before the figure. Demacia is gold and royal blue, Noxus is red and black with iron, Shadow Isles is teal and rotting black, Ionia leans pastel blues and pinks, Freljord is ice blue and pelt, Shurima is desaturated gold and sand.
Anchor on iconic crops the daily streak rewards. Wide gauntlet on a sword is Garen. Orange tails on motion lines are Ahri. Blue blade with red bandana is Yasuo. Purple fairy on a yordle's shoulder is Lulu and Pix. Sniper-rifle visor is Caitlyn.
Read the champion under the skin. Pulsefire, Project, Star Guardian, and DJ skin lines all have signature aesthetics borrowed from the line, not the champion. Identify by hat, weapon, or pose, never by the borrowed colors that swap with the skin.
Save the last two zoom levels for the face window. By 1.7x and 1.5x you can usually see the full silhouette or the face. Streak veterans almost never lose a day from the final two frames, so your real budget is the first four guesses.
Six zooms is plenty if you spend the early frames buying information. Save the streak by saving the last two.
