LoL Patch 26.19: Pre-Worlds Buffs, Teleport, Team Voice
LoL Patch 26.19 is live, and Riot spent it handing top lane more map presence while trimming the jungle staples you have leaned on all year. The notes went up on September 22, 2026 and the patch landed on September 23, 2026, which makes this the last stop before the Worlds patch on 26.20 freezes the pro meta.
Here is what 26.19 changes for your soloQ climb, and what you can safely ignore.
๐ฏ Key takeaways before you queue
- Teleport from the top lane role quest drops from 420 seconds to 390 seconds, and the upgraded Unleashed Teleport from 330-240 to 300-210 seconds. Non-top Unleashed Teleport is unchanged.
- Riot buffed its fringe picks: Aatrox, Aphelios, Aurora, Draven, Elise, Fiora, Kha'Zix, Lillia, Lucian, Master Yi and Volibear all gained power.
- The nerfs target the year's safe picks: Nocturne, Vi, Ryze, Nasus and Rumble, plus a jungle-clear trim on Poppy.
- Team Voice is postponed, with no new date announced.
- Support items World Atlas and Runic Compass swap flat health for health regeneration.
โก Teleport is the headline change
The top lane role quest gave top laners a free Teleport and, per Riot, made it normal to skip the summoner spell entirely. The answer in 26.19 is to make that free Teleport stronger: 420 seconds of cooldown becomes 390 seconds, and the upgraded version goes from 330-240 seconds to 300-210 seconds.
If you play top, that is roughly one extra rotation per game. You can punish a bot lane dive and still be back for the next wave, and split-push timings punish slower rotations than they did last patch. If you play the other lanes, the practical effect is simpler: expect the enemy top laner to show up more often.
Riot's own framing is that top lane looked slightly weak, especially for split pushing, so the buff is aimed at alternative strategies rather than raw fighting power.
๐ฅ The buffs: Riot's fringe picks
Riot called these picks candidates for the tournament that could also add normal-play variety without becoming disruptive. Full list, so you can check your champion pool:
- Aatrox: W Infernal Chains cooldown 20-12 seconds to 18-12 seconds, E Umbral Dash heal ratio 1.1% to 1.3% per 100 bonus health.
- Aphelios: Calibrum Moonshot damage 70-160 to 80-170, Infernum Duskwave cooldown 9-6 seconds to 8-5 seconds.
- Aurora: E The Weirding base damage 70-230 to 80-240.
- Draven: base attack damage 62 to 64.
- Elise: passive on-hit damage 12-42 to 14-44, W bonus attack speed 60-120% to 70-130%.
- Fiora: health per level 99 to 105, R maximum heal 375/500/625 to 400/525/650.
- Kha'Zix: passive Unseen Threat damage 17-136 to 22-141, evolved Leap range bonus +200 to +300.
- Lillia: armor 22 to 24, R sleep duration 2 seconds to 2.5 seconds.
- Lucian: Q Piercing Light 80-220 to 90-250.
- Master Yi: Q cooldown refund on hit is no longer cut down by ability haste.
- Volibear: passive chain lightning now scales with +20% bonus AD.

Aphelios is the most interesting one for ladder players. He has been a hypercarry sitting in an enchanter meta that should already favor him, so the Calibrum damage and the 8-5 second Infernum cooldown are Riot paying you to play him. Kha'Zix gets a similar nudge: more passive damage and a longer evolved Leap, the flexibility his evolves were missing.
๐ The nerfs: Riot trims the safety picks
If your climb has been built on the reliable stuff, this half of the patch matters more than the buffs:
- Nasus: Q Siphoning Strike bonus damage 40-120 to 30-110, so the early stacking curve is slower.
- Nocturne: R Paranoia cooldown 140/115/90 seconds to 160/130/100 seconds.
- Rumble: overheat attack speed 50-130% to 30-100%.
- Ryze: Q flux bonus damage 25/50/75/100% to 15/40/65/90%, and E mana cost 35-75 to 40-80.
- Vi: attack damage 63 + 3.5 per level to 61 + 3.9 per level, passive shield 12% to 10% of maximum health.
- Poppy: Q monster maximum health cap 85-225 to 70-210, a deliberate hit to her jungle flex.

Nocturne is the sharpest of these. Twenty extra seconds on Paranoia at rank one changes how often he can threaten a lane, and Vi loses both early clear speed and two points of max-health shield. Two of the safest jungle picks of the year got worse in the same patch, which is the swing the LoL Patch 26.16 notes already hinted at when jungle itemization shifted.
World Atlas and Runic Compass: health for regeneration
Melee supports got a stat swap on their support quest items. Health goes from 30/100/200 to 0/60/200, while health regeneration goes from 25/50/75% to 50/75/75%.
Riot wants melee supports sturdier over a long lane instead of fatter in one dive, and health regen is worth more on those champions than flat health was.
๐๏ธ Team Voice slips out of 26.20
Team Voice, the planned expansion of party voice chat to the whole team, was announced for North America and Oceania in Patch 26.20. Riot has now postponed it after further testing, saying it wants to hit a quality bar before shipping.
There is no new target patch. If you see a date floating around, it is speculation, not an announcement.
๐ฎ League Classic: Fizz, Graves, Nami and Nautilus
The Classic lineup keeps growing with a water-themed drop of four champions: Fizz, Graves, Nami and Nautilus. Riot also acted on the first Council vote, bringing back three items that classic players voted for: Cloak and Dagger, Moonflair Spellblade and Zz'Rot Portal.
A second Council poll is live in the League client for seven days, covering six areas including which champion kit gets restored next.
How to play 26.19 before the Worlds patch
The meta that professionals lock in during the Worlds patch usually trickles down to ranked a few weeks later. Getting ahead of it now is cheap, and you do not have to reformat your champion pool to do it.
- Top lane: give quest Teleport a real try. One extra 30-second window per game is a different split-push pattern, not just a number.
- Jungle: Nocturne and Vi both lost tempo, so Elise and Kha'Zix have a cleaner path to early pressure.
- Bot lane: Lucian, Draven and Aphelios all got a nudge. If your ADC pool is stale, this is the moment to test a second pick.
- Mid: Ryze still scales, but the flux damage cut makes his mid-game skirmishes less forgiving.
Check the champion breakdowns on the LoL meta hub before you lock anything in, then take it into practice and see how the numbers feel ๐ง . If you want to measure the result instead of guessing, the Amber.gg LoL ladder tracks your ranked stats across matches, and the $5 signup bonus is a cheap way to start. Apply the meta, run the games, and climb before the Worlds patch decides the meta for you ๐.
