Patch 26.10 makes Quinn a real jungle option with new monster damage buffs, gives Lee Sin unconditional Dragon's Rage collateral, and nerfs Zed, Naafiri, and Ambessa to reshape ranked meta compositions.
Patch 26.10 just changed the jungle forever 🐦 Quinn is officially a viable jungler, Lee Sin gets his most reliable R yet, and a wave of nerfs is reshuffling the solo queue meta. Here's what actually matters for your ranked climb.
Riot dropped three changes that stack perfectly for jungle Quinn. Her Passive (Harrier) now adds +50 bonus monster damage, her Q (Blinding Assault) hits monsters for +50% extra damage, and her R (Behind Enemy Lines) mana cost drops from 100/50/0 to 50/25/0.
That's faster camps, better objective control, and a roaming ult that no longer drains your mana. Check the — Quinn's clear speed rivals current A-tier jungle picks.

Two changes that matter: the W (Safeguard) cooldown is now a flat 7 seconds regardless of target (was 12s/6s depending on whether you jump to an ally or a ward). Ward-hop setups become far more predictable for execution.
More importantly, Dragon's Rage now guarantees its collateral. If you kick an enemy into a crowd and that target dies mid-flight, every champion they collide with still takes full damage and stays knocked up. No more whiffed ultimates on a dying target.
Wukong W clone damage rises to 40-60% (from 30-50%) and duration extends to 4 seconds (+0.75s). More pressure on opponents trying to guess which is real during skirmishes.
Zeri gets a Q base damage bump (22-38, was 21-33) and her excess attack speed to AD conversion jumps from 50% to 60%. Extended fights in her favor now snowball significantly harder 📈
Galio gets cheaper Q mana costs and better AP scaling on E and R. Not a tier-list pick yet, but AP Galio compositions are inching closer to viability in organized play.
Zed's passive max HP damage drops at early levels: 6-10% down to 5-10%. His E (Shadow Slash) also loses 10 flat damage and AD scaling drops from 80% to 70% bonus AD. The level 2-3 assassination window is noticeably smaller.
If you're climbing with Zed, check the ranked climbing data guide for context on when early snowballs actually convert to wins. This nerf hits all-in snowball builds harder than scaling builds.
Naafiri takes hits on both Q and R: Q max bonus damage drops from 60-180 to 60-160, R damage decreases from 150-350 to 150-300 with lower packmate bonus per cast. She was one of the stronger mid assassins, and this brings her closer to the rest of the pack.
Ambessa is more nuanced. Her Q lower range gets bumped (2-6% max HP to 4-6%), which actually helps her top lane all-in. But her jungle numbers get cut: Q bonus monster damage drops from 125 to 75, and R healing vs monsters goes from 40% to 25%. She's being pushed back to a pure top laner.
Shyvana loses 5 HP per level (100 growth down to 95) and her W shield is reduced. After the Shyvana rework earlier this season, Riot is trimming her numbers to bring her in line.
Smolder Q drops from 65-125 to 60-120, and his W explosion bonus AD scaling falls from 65% to 50%. His late-game ramp is nerfed, which puts downward pressure on his ADC position in the tier list.
Riot removed the mechanic where attacking an enemy champion near allied minions would pull minion aggro onto you. Diving into a minion wave is now less punishing, and lane bullies lose one key deterrent.
Expect more aggressive extended trades near waves, especially from bruisers and divers who previously avoided contesting close to minions.
New tool: teams can now vote to end a match with a severely disruptive player. If the vote passes, the disruptive player's team takes zero LP or MMR loss, and the winning team keeps full LP. If the vote fails, the disruptive team also cannot lose LP for that game.
This directly addresses one of the most frustrating ranked scenarios: being forced to play out a hopeless game because of an AFK or intentional feeder.
Deathfire Touch loses 1 DPS at level 1 (4 down to 3). Small, but it matters for AP assassins who rely on it for level-1 trading.
Stormraider's Surge gets buffed: movement speed rises to 48% melee / 36% ranged (from 40%/30%), and the duration extends to 4 seconds (from 3). Kiting and dash-heavy champions running this rune become much harder to pin down post-trade.
Patch 26.10 is one of the bigger meta shifts this season. Quinn jungle creates entirely new draft options, especially for teams that want a fast early-game jungler with strong map presence. Pair her with a wave-managing mid laner and the map pressure becomes significant.
The Zed and Naafiri nerfs rebalance the mid assassin pool. Naafiri was a strong pick in the Patch 26.9 meta, and she's now more in line with the rest of the pack. Ambessa's jungle flex is gone, simplifying top/jungle priority in draft.
Track how the meta evolves on the LoL meta tracker as the first week data rolls in. Quinn jungle winrate will be the number to watch.
