The LEC Spring 2026 Grand Final is here, and EU esports doesn't get bigger than this. G2 Esports face Karmine Corp on June 7 at 15:00 CEST in a winner-takes-all rematch that no script could have written better.

G2 claimed the upper bracket, locking in MSI 2026 and a full week of rest. KC got swept 3-1 and dropped to the lower bracket, but instead of folding, they ran through every opponent in their way. Three series. Three wins. Including yesterday's dominant 3-0 over Movistar KOI in the LB Final. The Blue Wall is back, and they want the title.

G2 finished the regular split at the summit of the LEC standings and have looked untouchable in the playoffs. BrokenBlade in the top lane has been one of the most consistent split-pushers in Europe, while Caps has been his usual terrifying self in the mid lane, pulling out pick after pick at critical moments.
The roster, BrokenBlade, SkewMond, Caps, Hans sama, and Labrov, enters the Grand Final fully rested. That recovery edge after avoiding the LB grind could prove decisive over five games.
Expect G2 to prioritize controlled, macro-driven play. Caps' champion pool (Viktor, Azir, Cassiopeia) is built for scaling and winning extended team fights, and SkewMond has been excellent at enabling that gameplan with objective control.
KC's path to the Grand Final is the stuff of legends. Swept by G2 in the upper bracket, the team refused to die. A 3-1 win over Natus Vincere, a 3-0 demolition of GIANTX (read the full recap here), and then yesterday's clinical 3-0 against Movistar KOI. KC has now won nine consecutive maps in the lower bracket.
Yike has been the engine driving this run. The Swedish jungler's Vi and Hecarim picks apply constant early pressure and enable KC to play aggressively on both sides of the map. kyeahoo in the mid lane has matched or exceeded expectations at every turn, bringing a calculated LCK-style aggression to the LEC stage.

Canna holds the top lane anchor role with veteran poise, while Caliste and Busio form a cohesive bot lane capable of both winning lane and surviving through adversity. This KC roster is peaking at exactly the right moment.
The mid lane battle is the one to watch on June 7. Caps is the most decorated player in European League of Legends history, with multiple LEC titles and two Worlds finals appearances. His champion mastery and ability to influence side lanes from the center of the map is elite.
kyeahoo, recruited from Korea's DRX, has been a genuine revelation in EU. He plays disciplined, efficient LoL and rarely gifts leads, forcing opponents to earn every advantage. If he can contain Caps in the early game, KC's composition-building around Yike can shift map control in their favor.
G2 will focus on isolating the mid matchup and funneling resources to Caps. KC needs kyeahoo to go even or better, giving Yike the freedom to dictate pace.
The Grand Final is played on Patch 26.11, a tank-heavy meta that rewards hard engage and coordinated teamfights. Thresh, Nautilus, and Leona are the dominant support picks, Sion and Malphite are solid in the top lane, and the jungle favors engage champions like Hecarim and Vi.
The mid lane remains flexible, with Fizz, Vladimir, and Azir all tier-1 options. Expect both teams to draft compositions centered around one or two hard-engage threats and a scaling carry. Map control and baron/dragon priority will likely decide who lifts the trophy. Keep an eye on Amber.gg's LoL meta tracker for live champion tier data heading into the match.
G2 enters as the clear favorite. Upper bracket advantage, rested roster, and Caps at his peak are difficult to overcome. But KC has something G2 has rarely faced: playoff battle-hardening, rising confidence, and the crowd firmly on their side.
If KC can take two games and push this to a deciding Game 5, anything becomes possible. But G2's experience in Grand Finals and their macro precision should be the difference.
Our pick: G2 wins 3-1, with KC making them earn every game.
