LoL Patch 26.8 drops on April 15, 2026, and the PBE has already revealed some spicy changes. Yuumi is getting meaningful buffs, Victorious Braum is your ranked reward for the season, and five new skins are on the way. Here's everything confirmed so far.
Patch 26.8 goes live on April 15, 2026, following the standard two-week patch cycle. The next update after that lands on April 29.
Patch 26.7 was a smaller patch with only 10 champion changes, but it brought one of the biggest meta shifts of the season: the removal of the support farm penalty. That change alone is pushing more AP-heavy supports like Lux, Veigar, and Zyra into the spotlight.
Yuumi is getting some love in Patch 26.8. Her passive heal scaling and ultimate receive noticeable upgrades, making her a more viable pick in both solo queue and coordinated play.
The bug fix is worth noting: previously, Yuumi was accidentally double-healing her best friend on R activations. That's gone. The net result is more reliable healing output without the unintended stacking.
If you're tracking Yuumi's win rate after the patch drops, the LoL meta page is your go-to for live tier stats.
Earlier in the PBE cycle, Riot had teased changes to LeBlanc, Poppy, and Braum. All three were reverted before making it to live servers. No official explanation yet, but the revert suggests Riot wasn't satisfied with how the numbers landed in testing.
Don't expect those changes in Patch 26.8. If they resurface, they'll likely appear in a future patch preview.
Braum is the chosen champion for this year's Victorious skin. The skin comes with rank-specific chromas covering every tier from Iron to Challenger.

Rank-specific chromas are available for: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger. If you're grinding ranked before the season ends, this is your goal.
Five skins are arriving with this patch:
The standout is PROJECT: Command Line Yi, a Sanctum-exclusive skin with a cyberpunk terminal aesthetic. If you're not in the Sanctum yet, this one might change that.
With only Yuumi buffs confirmed at this stage, the direct meta impact is limited. Yuumi becomes more viable as an enchanter, especially on aggressive AD carries who benefit from stacking her passive bond healing.
The bigger ongoing story is the support farm penalty removal from Patch 26.7. AP supports are already climbing in win rate, and 26.8 doesn't reverse that trend. Check the Tier List for Patch 26.7 to see which champions are currently dominating before 26.8 reshuffles the rankings.
