None of this was guaranteed a year ago. The CBLOL started with a single Worlds slot.
That changed on 22 March 2026, when a second Brazilian slot was granted after the Brazilian scene pushed back hard on how the region was being measured against the LCS. One slot meant one chance, and the criticism was simple: a league with that much depth deserved a second shot at the international stage.
Six months later, that decision is the reason Los Grandes can qualify on 27 September while LOUD and FURIA still fight for a seat in October.
🎮 RED Canids Out, Demacia Cup Next
RED Canids will not be in that conversation. The team is eliminated from the CBLOL playoffs, and the 27 September announcement confirmed their season continues at the Demacia Cup Global Invitational.
That is the shape of the CBLOL Split 2 in its last stretch: eight teams started on 25 July, a 60,000 dollar prize pool, offline in Brazil, and a finish on 10 October that settles both the title and the last Brazilian seat at Worlds 2026.
