With the EWC relocated from Riyadh to Paris (Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, July 6 to August 23), the stakes couldn't be higher. These three teams join the qualified squads from each region to compete for a share of the record $75M prize pool. Before that, Masters London kicks off June 6 as the next VCT milestone.
BBL Esports dominated Natus Vincere in the EMEA lower final, taking the series 3-0. It was a clean, clinical performance that left no doubt: BBL belong on the EWC stage.
NaVi had worked their way back through the lower bracket, knocking out Team Liquid and Fnatic along the way. They were dangerous, but BBL shut it down map after map. EMEA's third EWC slot goes to Turkey 🇹🇷.
NRG's path to Paris was anything but smooth. Forced into the lower bracket early, they clawed back with a 2-0 win over Leviatán (Pearl 13-11, Lotus 14-12) to secure the Americas' third EWC slot.
Both maps went deep. NRG showed serious mental resilience to close out tight games under elimination pressure, exactly the kind of form that wins on big stages. For fans watching VALORANT's current meta heading into Masters London, NRG's composure in close rounds is what to watch 📈.
Nongshim RedForce had the toughest test of the three. They took it 3-1 over Gen.G in a lower final that stretched deep before NS secured the Pacific region's final EWC ticket.
Gen.G pushed hard but couldn't close out the series. NS RedForce advance to Paris as Pacific's third qualifier, joining Rex Regum Qeon and Global Esports from the same region 🔥.
Before EWC kicks off in July, the next big event is VCT Masters London, starting June 6 with the Swiss Stage. Twelve teams from four regions compete for the second global VCT trophy of 2026, a completely separate event from EWC.
Think of it this way: Masters London is the form check, EWC Paris is the grand showdown. Plenty of VALORANT to follow between now and August 🗓️.
