Masters London kicks off June 5 at the Copper Box Arena in East London. The Swiss stage format determines which teams advance to the playoffs, so every opening match counts double.

Three of these four matchups are brand-new on the international stage: Vitality vs DRG, FULL SENSE vs FUT Esports, and LEVIATÁN vs Global Esports have never met in international Valorant competition. No VODs, no psychological edge from past results, no patterns to exploit.
The only rematch is NRG vs. Xi Lai Gaming, a reprise of their clash at Masters Santiago where NRG came out on top. The draw used a pool system separating seeds, with regional safeguards keeping same-region teams apart in Round 1.

These matchups don't exist in a vacuum, and the meta context here is critical. The Patch 12.09 Neon nerf hit LEVIATÁN (Americas champions) and FUT Esports hard, both of whom leaned heavily into Neon's speed and wall utility during their qualifying runs.

LEVIATÁN vs. Global Esports is the most fascinating matchup because of this. LEV earned their spot through the Americas just weeks ago but may need to rebuild their agent pool under a new meta. Global Esports, meanwhile, shocked the VCT Pacific field and arrive in London with momentum and a flexible, agent-agnostic playstyle.
