LEVIATÁN entered the series with an upper bracket advantage, wielding a double map ban that stripped Lotus and Breeze from the pool. G2 answered with composure, individual brilliance, and a comeback on the deciding Split to seal the championship.

Before the final, G2 had to go through a brutal five-map semi against NRG. They did, extending their all-time record against them to 7-0.
trent was the deciding factor on Ascent with a 1.43 rating and 23 kills. leaf had already posted 24 kills and 317 ACS on the same map earlier in the series. The decider was closer than comfortable, but G2's veteran-level adaptability sealed it 13-10. NRG finish third and secure Americas' third seed for London.
LEVIATÁN used their upper bracket advantage to ban Lotus and Breeze, two of G2's most comfortable picks. Then they proceeded to pick four of the five remaining maps themselves. G2 still won the series.
Down 1-2 and playing on opponent picks, G2 activated tournament mode. On Pearl, jawgemo delivered a 1v3 clutch retake on Ascent and was described as having "four big ones" on Pearl. On Split, G2 trailed 8-10 before roaring back to close it out 13-11.
