If Group Alpha is competitive, Group Omega is chaos.
G2 enter Stage 2 as defending champions after their dominant Stage 1 run that saw MIBR and NRG dominate the regular season. But there is zero room for complacency here: 100 Thieves have been building momentum all split, KRÜ Esports are the best team from Latin America South and historically punch above their seed, and LOUD always find a way when the lights are brightest.
This is a Group Omega situation that mirrors what EMEA is dealing with this Stage 2: two direct playoff spots for six legitimate contenders.
The groups draw scatters LATAM representation across both sides, which means there is guaranteed Latin American representation at every stage of the bracket. LEVIATÁN and MIBR carry the flag in Alpha, while KRÜ and LOUD fly it in Omega.
FURIA is the squad to watch for a breakout: they finished Stage 1 at #5 but showed flashes of a team that could qualify for São Paulo if the meta aligns. The summer grind is exactly where Brazilian teams historically find another gear. 🇧🇷
