The Esports Nations Cup is bringing back the names fans have missed most, and Canada just built a dream team with TenZ and Marved leading the charge.
Three of Valorant's most iconic players are making a comeback. TenZ, Marved, and Sacy have been confirmed for the Esports Nations Cup 2026, a country-vs-country Valorant tournament set for November in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 🌍.
The Esports Nations Cup is a national-flag format tournament where pros represent their country, not their team. Think of it as the World Cup of Valorant. The 2026 edition will feature 32 nations competing at the Esports World Cup venue in Riyadh from November 8-15.
The field breaks down like this: 16 nations earned direct invitations based on accumulated region points, 16 more will qualify through open brackets (June 26-28), and 2 wildcard spots round out the roster. It is shaping up to be the biggest nations-cup event in Valorant history.

All three players have been out of professional play for over a year, and this tournament is bringing them back.
TenZ and Marved will fly the Canadian flag 🇨🇦 alongside mada, eeiu, and fellow compatriots. TenZ, once the face of Sentinels and one of the most-watched Valorant players on the planet, had stepped away from the VCT circuit entirely. Marved, celebrated for his ice-cold clutch play with NRG and Evil Geniuses, is equally hungry to prove he belongs at the top.
Sacy joins Brazil 🇧🇷, already one of the most stacked rosters in the field. He will play alongside aspas and Less, two players consistently ranked among the best in the world. A Valorant champion with LOUD and later Sentinels, Sacy brings title-winning experience that makes Brazil an immediate contender.
Sixteen countries locked their spots based on accumulated VCT region points. The complete list:
The USA tops the invite list with a commanding 13,000-point lead. Sixteen additional teams will emerge from the June qualifier bracket, with 2 wildcard spots still to be assigned.
Nation cup formats carry a unique emotional weight that regular league play cannot replicate. When a pro swaps a team jersey for a national flag, the stakes go deeper than a season ranking 📈.
For TenZ and Marved, this is a chance to prove they have not lost a step after stepping away from pro play. For Sacy, pairing with aspas and Less makes Brazil a genuine title threat. And for fans, watching legends come out of retirement to compete for their country is exactly the kind of storyline esports was built on.
